We would like to present our Street Rehabilitation Project in Uganda and ask the partnership of your school.

Koinonia Kids project offers to schoolchildren in Belgium the opportunity to learn about children living on the streets in other parts of the world and how they can contribute to a better world by investing in the future of children from a developing country.

Koinonia believes that every child should grow up with love and be raised to become a balanced adult. That is why we are committed to the most neglected children in the world and get them away from landfills, children’s prisons, street begging, drugs and exploitation.

We give hope and provide practical help with shelter, education and rehabilitation. Uganda is one of the countries with the largest number of street children in the world. Your school can make really make a difference for these children! What can we expect from each other?

We give a customized presentation about our project adapted to the age of the school children. This is both informative, using a short introductory film, and also raises awareness about the life of street children in Uganda and their needs. The presentation is interactive and children are encouraged to participate and get involved.

The school has the opportunity to organize a one-time or an annual fundraising activity for their chosen project, eg. hot dog sales, charity walk, sponsored bicycle tour, etc. The school may sponsor one or more children and follow them up into adulthood. Long term partnership and possibility of twinning with other schools in Uganda.

If you have any further questions or would like to arrange a presentation at your school, please feel free to contact us.
