Verslag met foto's van onze laatste missiereis<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Napak, in het noorden van Oeganda, met zijn verzengende temperaturen, is de droogste en armste regio van het land. De mensen die daar wonen, worden beschouwd en behandeld als verschoppelingen. Ze worden aan hun lot overgelaten, terwijl deze regio is geplunderd en verarmd door oorlogen en geteisterd door epidemie\u00ebn, waaronder het hiv-virus, dat nog steeds zijn sporen nalaat.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

De meeste straatkinderen komen uit Napak. In veel gevallen worden ze al op zeer jonge leeftijd verhandeld en misbruikt door mensenhandelaars. Tijdens ons bezoek aan de school waar onze kinderen in Napak zijn ondergebracht, bracht Anna haar getuigenis. Ze was amper 3 jaar oud toen ze onder valse voorwendselen aan mensenhandelaars werd verkocht. Als bedelende slaaf onderging ze vele vormen van geweld en misbruik. Anna ontsnapte vier keer aan haar beulen, maar kwam steeds weer in handen van de mensenhandelaars terecht. Tot de dag dat ze door het Koinonia-team werd gevonden, gebroken in lichaam en geest... toen begon haar leven! Zoals je op de foto kunt zien, viel ze op haar knie\u00ebn en vielen de tranen op de grond... de herinnering, maar ook de dankbaarheid!\u2698\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
