Enkele nieuwtjes over onze laatste twee gesponsorde kinderen Marit en Lolengo, die na het overlijden van hun grootmoeder wees en hulpeloos achterbleven. Zoals u zich wellicht herinnert, werden broer en zus na een echte noodinterventie via sociale media kort na elkaar opgevangen door twee ontroerde sponsors in hun familie. Wat een vreugde, voor ons maar vooral voor deze twee kleintjes! Onlangs ontvingen we een korte update. Hier zijn enkele fragmenten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marit is nog steeds verdrietig over de dood van haar vader en moeder, die kort voor haar oma zijn overleden. Ze doet haar best om niet verdrietig te zijn, maar dat is niet gemakkelijk als ze haar vrienden met hun ouders ziet. Ze is zo blij dat God haar gebed heeft verhoord en dat ze nu deel uitmaakt van de Koinonia-familie. Marit verheugt zich erop om naar school te kunnen gaan en is daar dankbaar voor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lolengo is blij dat hij en zijn zus nu bij hun tante wonen en dat er nu genoeg eten is voor iedereen, zodat hij geen honger meer heeft. Toen oma stierf, was hij erg bang dat er niemand meer zou zijn om voor hen te zorgen. Hij hoopt dat hij snel naar school kan gaan, zodat hij allerlei dingen kan leren.
