Spinning Marathon

A spinning marathon was organized on March 11, 2012 at the Health City in Antwerp. The proceeds went entirely to the Koinonia Street Rehabilitation Project in Uganda. 133 sport funs and 4 teachers gave their best; they combined sport with giving children a new life …; it really makes a difference! A brilliant initiative and lots of fun for a good cause.

On May 14, 2011 we organized a festival with a gospel concert and a second hand market at the Sint-Jansplein in Antwerp, Belgium for the benefit of the Childrens Rehabilitation Project in Uganda.We raised 1377,00 Euro on sales. We want to thank all the people who donated stuff for the sale and also we thank the cooperating churches and bands, dance groups, choirs, photographers and volunteers, who worked hard and helped to turn this event into a wonderful occasion.

Greetings from the children in Kisoro, Uganda

On December 25th, 2010 Eugenia left for 2 weeks on a mission trip to Uganda. The purpose of her visit to the Children Project was to encourage the children and co-workers, share and make future plans.

We especially hope to get an approval on the building plans for the new home. Our dream is to be able to welcome more children en give a new opportunity for the future.

With enthusiasm and plans full of hope we look forward to 2011.

Indeed God calls us to aim at that what is impossible from human point of view so that His miracles become visible. (changing the world, for example)

Welcome to the new site of KoinoniaKids.org.

Although the site is not fully up to date, still we have the honor to welcome you to the new site.
As you can see it looks very different from the old one, and to be honest, it does look better too.
I would suggest you go and check out the site.

One of the new features on this site is the “Stay Tuned” area. This will keep you up to date about the project; the trips to Africa or other, the gifts, needs, the updates on the site and many other things.

Also on the bottom of each post there will be a “like” and “share” button. Clicking on one of these buttons will connect you with several social networks, e-mail and might add the site to your favorites, which ofcourse we would encourage.

Coming up on the new site is a Photo Gallery. There we will share pictures from the children in Uganda among others.
And in a short time you will also find a Paypal donate button for those who would like to donate online.
